Tech Prep is the best way for high school students who want to pursue careers in high-paying, high-demand occupation areas to prepare. Two years of Tech Prep classes in high school + two years of post-secondary classes = Employment Success! |
 Tech Prep is a federally funded initiative whose purpose is to strengthen the connection between education and occupational employment. The Arizona Department of Education, with assistance from the U. S. Department of Education, makes grants to nine consortia in the state, including one serving students in Pima and Santa Cruz Counties, to help with the transition between secondary and post-secondary school. The consortia members work together to create an education pathway for high school career and technical education students that leads to an associate degree or certificate from a community college. |
